English textile designer Mimi Pickard’s first collection, the Lily Collection was inspired by a visit to Charleston Farmhouse – the East Sussex country home of artists and avant-garde Bloomsbury Group members, Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. Here, they painted virtually every surface with a design or motif, creating a home full of colour and art.

Mimi wanted her designs to emulate the natural and almost naïve feel of the Bloomsbury decorative style, as well as having a strong sense of colour and shape. The collection is hand printed in England, using silk screens, onto 100% linen – as well as onto wallpaper – see ‘Wallpapers’ for further information.

The Mimi Pickard collection is also available to trade. Contact nicola@nicolalawrence.com.au for pricing.  For further information about the inspiring Bloomsbury Group or Charleston House, click here.
