Nicola Lawrence in the Media
30 April 2019 | General
May has been a busy month for Nicola Lawrence, Textiles and Papers, and for Nicola Lawrence herself, in the media.
Australian House & Garden has a lovely feature on pattern and colour, for which Nicola Lawrence supplied gorgeous GALBRAITH & PAUL wallpaper and ALICE SERGEANT TEXTILES hand printed fabric, included as a table cloth. Belle Magazine has across a four page feature on children's rooms, used the wonderful Healey Monkey from the CHARLOTTE GAISFORD collection and from LAKE AUGUST, the whimsical Bun.
A favourite international design magazine, House & Garden UK, also featured two stories for which Nicola was involved as Locations Editor: a feature on Anna Spiro's vibrantly decorated guest house, and a pretty, southern tablelands country garden, designed in collaboration with the owner by Paul Bangay.
The locations editing role came about after Nicola submitted Cameron Kimber's country house to Hatta Byng, editor and it was subsequently featured and on the cover of the magazine in January 2017. Invited by Hatta to lunch in London last year, she then suggested this role - one that is quite a bit of fun and adds another dimension to an aesthetic life.
A reminder that the Nicola Lawrence collections are now available to trade only, however for retail customers who do not have access to an interior designer, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and she will put you in touch with a designer who will assist in retail ordering.
